Özet:

The aim of this article is to deal with the problem of what the concepts of responsibility and hospitality are in the context of Derrida and Özakmans theories. While Derrida deals with these two concepts on the axis of being possibleimpossible, condi tiona lunc ondit ional , Özakman evaluates them as possible and conditional. Derridas research is theoretical and acts on an etymological basis. Özakman questions the concepts by placing them in the literary text, rather than dealing with the concepts in particular, and gives the receiver the opportunity to question. On the basis of these two approaches, the study will try to question which of the given designs regarding the concepts of responsibility and hospitality is more competent, both in theory and in practice. As a result, it will be argued that Özakmans approach is more competent in terms of applicability and in itself is a criticism of Derridas theory.
