Özet:

Ermenek district of Karaman province is an important region that became the capital during the Karamanoğulları Principality period. There are important inscriptions on wood and stone materials in Ermenek, where buildings such as mosques, masjids and madrasahs are located. In this article, the inscriptions of eight buildings built during the Karamanoğulları Principality, including Akça Masjid, Ulu Mosque, Batı Celaliye Mosque, Tol Madrasa, Yukarı Güllük Mosque, Görmeli Ala Bridge, Sipas Mosque and Tomb of Karamanoğlu Mahmut Bey in Balkusan, located in Ermenek district are presented chronologically and evaluated in order. While making an evaluation, we limited the inscriptions to the principality period only; written on stone and wood. Among these inscriptions, the door wings of the Ulu Mosque and the door and window wings of the Sipas Mosque are in Konya. The Görmeli Ala Bridge inscriptions, which remain under the Ermenek Dam today, are preserved in the Karaman Museum warehouse. Other inscriptions are n the structure. In our study, the inscriptions identified as belonging to monuments that were discussed in terms of art o history and architecture in previous studies were photographed on site and some of them were drawn and colored and evaluated in terms of calligraphy. Identifying and examining the inscriptions of the principality period is important for our history and writing culture. In conclusion; The inscriptions written on wood and stone, which have worn down in placesover time but have survived to this day, still shed light on history as they present the characteristics of the period.
