Özet:

Old Anatolian Turkish, derived from the dialect characteristics of the migrating Oghuz Turks starting from the 11th century, served as the written language and laid the foundation for Turkish language and literature in Anatolia. The earliest written works from this period date back to the 13th century. Despite certain spelling challenges due to Arabic script, extensive research has revealed the language features of Old Anatolian Turkish. Among these works, Terceme-i Kitâbül-Ahlâk exemplifies the linguistic traits of this era. This study aims to assess Terceme-i Kitâbül-Ahlâk, located in Çorum Hasan Paşa Provincial Public Library with inventory number 19 Hk 34879 under the Turkish Manuscripts Institution, in terms of its linguistic characteristics and spelling peculiarities of Old Anatolian Turkish.

XI. yüzyıldan itibaren Batıya doğru göç eden Oğuz Türklerinin kendi ağız özelliklerine dayalı bir yazı dili olan ve Anadoluda Türk dili ve edebiyatının temelinin oluşmasını sağlayan devreye Eski Türkiye Türkçesi denir. Bu döneme ait ilk yazılı eserler XIII. yüzyıldan itibaren verilmeye başlanmıştır. Bugün Arap harfli metinlerin imlasından dolayı birtakım izaha muhtaç meseleleri olsa da Eski Türkiye Türkçesi dil özellikleri birçok bilimsel çalışma ile ortaya konmuştur. Eski Türkiye Türkçesi dil özelliklerini taşıyan eserlerden biri de Terceme-i Kitâbül-Ahlâk adlı eserdir. Bu çalışmada, Türkiye Yazma Eserler Kurumu Başkanlığı bünyesinde Çorum Hasan Paşa İl Halk Kütüphanesinde 19 Hk 34879 demirbaş numarası ile kayıtlı olan Terceme-i Kitâbül-Ahlâk adlı eserin Eski Türkiye Türkçesi dil özellikleri ve dönemin bazı imla problemleri açısından değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır.
