Özet:

This article analyses the position of women in far-right politics in a historical continuum, comparing womens representation in fascist regimes with womens participation in contemporary far-right movements. The article draws attention to the increasing presence of women as voters and leaders in right-wing populist and far-right parties that have emerged in Europe in the 21st century. It analyses the ways in which women are articulated within traditional patriarchal family ideologies, as well as their alliances with neoliberal policies. Through the discourses of the extreme right, which reinforce the sexist order, and the instrumentalization of womens rights discourse, the social, ideological and affective reasons underlying womens orientation towards these movements are discussed. These reasons are discussed in the context of oppression, the search for belonging and their relationship to gender regimes. The article analyzes womens engagement with the extreme right through issues such as the ideology of motherhood, the representation of women in the labor market and the tense relationship with feminist movements. Within the framework of Wilhelm Reichs doctrine of the commanding family and the thesis of sexual repression, an attempt is made to establish a basis for understanding the psycho-political dimension of womens turn to the extreme right. As a result, the position of women within the extreme right is analyzed as a multifaceted phenomenon, shaped not only by ideological but also by structural crises, fears and the search for belonging.
