Özet:

This study aimed to determine the character plant species of flooded forests located in different localities in the Black Sea and Marmara Region. These forests are Samsun Hacıosman Water Basar Forest, Sinop Sarıkum Water Basar Forest, Sakarya Hendek-Süleymaniye Water Basar Forest and Kırklareli İğneada Water Basar Forest. Six 20 x 20 m sample plots were placed in each flooded forest. The cover-abundance levels of the identified species were determined according to the Braun-Blaunqet method and the Phi Φ coefficient, and the fidelity degree of each species was also determined according to the Braun-Blaunqet and Phi Φ coefficient. The number of character types detected is as follows: 16 species were identified in Hacıosman Forest, 12 in Sarıkum Forest, 14 in Hendek-Süleymaniye Forest, and 30 in İğneada Forest. As a result, it was found that character species gradually decreased in localities where destruction was high.
