Özet:

While industrialization aims to increase productivity by integrating technological developments into production process, it is also the most important indicator development of countries. Industrialization, which is in its fourth phase, has become more important in recent years with the influence of digitalization. Industry 4.0 will provide an advantage for countries with developed economies to gain competitive advantage and gain power in the global economy. Starting from this point, this study aims to determine the impact of Industry 4.0 on the economic growth of BRICS countries Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, which attract attention with the rapid increase in their national income. In the research using annual data for the period 2004-2023, the Augmented Mean Group AMG cointegration estimator from the panel data analysis method was used. As a result of the findings, it has been determined that Industry 4.0 has a positive effect on the economic growth of BRICS countries.
