Özet:

In this study, it was aimed to systematically examine the studies in the literature on the belief levels and belief styles of university youth in Islam. In this context, databases and keywords were determined and the relevant literature was subjected to a descriptive analysis covering articles published between 2000 and 2023. The research is exploratory research in terms of its purpose and was conducted as a literature review, one of the exploratory research methods. In this way, it aims to determine the scope of the answers given to the specified question, which field it belongs to, how it is evaluated in the relevant field, and in which direction the research fields have changed. As a result of the analysis of the 96 articles, it was seen that young people largely accept the belief system of Islam. Considering the characteristics of the youth category, it was also revealed that the social and individual effects of youth and religious belief should be re-examined, especially through qualitative studies. In order to evaluate and discuss the questions, curiosities, interests, doubts and tendencies related to belief, which are questioned, sometimes reinforced and sometimes reconstructed with the influence of the youth period, on as accurate, understandable and objective grounds as possible, more specific questions and studies to be conducted in different disciplines with smaller groups are needed.
