Özet:

The Tang Dynasty period has a very important place in the development of Chinese literature. In this period, many writers and poets are trained, schools are opened, new movements emerge, and works in different literary genres are produced. These developments in the field of literature are also effective in shaping the literary works of later periods. The most notable among the literary genres of the Tang period is poetry. The Tang Dynasty gives Chinese poetry its golden age. Many successful poets emerge in that time. With the works of these poets, Chinese poetry is enriched in both subject and quality. Bureaucrat poets emerge as the administration and civil servants become interested in poetry. One of these bureaucrat poets is Han Yu. The poet, who has gone through a difficult childhood, experiences both difficulties and successes and receives promotions after passing the civil service exam. Han Yu, who adopts the Confucian teachings, often uses elements of Chinese philosophy in his works. In this context, three poems titled Junzi Takes Tian as an Example, Pomegranate Flower, Peach Flower with a Hundred Petals, which contain both the poets philosophical thoughts and biographical information, have been decided to be studied in this research. The poems have been translated from their Chinese originals by the author. In the study, the contents of the poems have been analyzed based on the method of historical criticism; The concepts they contain have been determined, and the sections that include the authors biography and the events of the period have been identified and explained.
