Özet:

Although the Renaissance period constitutes an important junction point in history in terms of philosophical, artistic and scientific aspects, it is very difficult to describe this period as homogeneous. The thought of this period, which is dated to the starting point of the Enlightenment adventure with the emphasis on the rediscovery of man through Humanism by the Enlightenment paradigm, displays an eclectic structure, nourished by Neo-Platonism, Hermessism and various mystical currents. Although it is difficult to describe it as the beginning of modernity due to the esoteric, heretic and mystical tendencies of the spirit of the period in question, some developments in the field of architecture and painting have led to some practices that will become chronic with modernity. The invention of linear perspective, first in architecture and then in painting, has radically and permanently changed the relationships that subjects establish with their environment. The effect of the experience of art on the practices of daily life became more evident in the twentieth century. The aim of this article will be to associate and discuss the basis of the human-centered approach, which is the cause of today's ethical, political and ecological crises, with the way of seeing gained through the linear perspective of this period.
