Özet:

The iʿjāz of the Holy Qurān is a subject that is agreed upon. The part that is disputed is the way or ways in which the iʿjāz is realised. The issue has been handled under many headings in the classical and modern period and different interpretations have been brought. While some scholars put a certain limitation on the iʿjāz of the Qurān, some scholars stated that no limitation can be put on this issue and pointed to different aspects of iʿjāz. One of these aspects is psychological iʿjāz. When analysed from the point of view of psychology, which is a young science, it is seen that the Qurān has started to influence human beings from the moment it was first revealed. This situation is called psychological iʿjāz. In classical times, it was expressed as nafssi iʿjāz, although it was not expressed much and not in the foreground. When it came to the contemporary period, it was expressed by many scholars as Qurānic studies began to be carried out with an interdisciplinary perspective. However, this type of iʿjāz was expressed separately by some scholars, while some scholars expressed it under the title of eloquence and verse. One of the most important issues that the science of iʿjāz al-Qurān deals with is undoubtedly the verses of tehaddī, in which the Qurān is asked to bring a similar one. The verses of Tehaddī occur in five verses in the Qurān in stages. The Qurān challenged those who denied the prophethood of Prophet Muhammad, doubted the Qurān, and claimed that it was fabricated, by inviting them to produce a copy of the Qurān and by mentioning different interlocutors, stating that this was never possible and could never happen. Therefore, the study will focus on the connection between the verses of tehaddī and psychological iʿjāz. It will be tried to search for the mental states that constitute the reasons for the denial of those who cannot help themselves while listening to the verses of the Qurān, who are incapable of bringing a similar one, but still slander the Qurān. The study firstly aims to define the science of psychology and iʿjāz al-Qurān, then to include information about psychological iʿjāz and the views of scholars on this subject, and finally to analyse the verses of tehaddī in the light of classical and contemporary tafsirs in terms of psychological iʿjāz.
