Özet:

The study was conducted to determine the genital hygiene behaviours, access to products and price perceptions of female university students. The descriptive study was conducted with 300 female students studying at a state university. Data were collected face-to-face using a sociodemographic characteristics form based on the literature and a genital hygiene behaviour scale. Frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t test and ANOVA tests were used to analyse the data using SPSS 25.0 software. As a result of the study, the mean scale score of the students was found to be 95.398.86. It was determined that the most frequently used material among genital hygiene products was pad 70.3, followed by wax 12.3. Although the number of those who thought that the prices of genital hygiene products were expensive was quite high n240, 80.0, only 38.7 stated that they had financial difficulties in purchasing the products. In conclusion, according to the information obtained from the study, it is recommended that the genital hygiene behaviours of female students are positive and that future studies on the subject should show a trend on genital hygiene products and prices.
