Özet:

Poetic dictionary, arud meter, grammar, rhetoric, cultural teaching, etc. It is written especially for the development of young children in their educational life. It is known that various commentaries were written over time on poetic dictionary, which generally appeal to everyone and have an important place in Turkish culture and literature. It can be said that these commentaries, in the most general sense, have a greater importance in cultural transmission than poetic dictionary. Because the language, literature and cultural treasures contained in these commentaries, which are like textbooks, have been added to the information in verse dictionaries and have formed an important part of Turkish literature. Poetic dictionary it has played important roles in the cultural and scientific development of studentsreaders. One of these commentaries is Manzume-i Keskin, written in three languages by Mustafa bin Osman Keskin from Denizli. This poem, written in parallel with Tuhfe-i Şâhidî, was written in the 18th century. This commentary, named Şerh-i Lügat-i Keskin, is the only commentary made on Manzûme-i Keskin, according to our current knowledge. As a result of catalog studies, only one copy of the work was found. In this copy, which is quite incomplete from the end, the name of the commentator and the date of writing of the work could not be found. The work, which consists of a preface and five dictionary sections, explains the pronunciation of words, their meanings, assumptions, plural forms, quantity and quality, etc. topics have been discussed. It is noteworthy that in the background text the name of the poem is given as Mefâtîhül-Hikem instead of Manzûme-i Keskin. Another feature of the commentary is the multitude of suggestions and criticisms made by the commentator towards the background text. The commentator suggests couplets that he thinks are correct, instead of some couplets written by the poet Mustafa bin Osman Keskin. It was thought that the Turkish equivalents of the Arabic and Persian words given in this way would be found more easily and their order in the couplets would be more accurate. The background text does not resemble any Manzûme-i Keskin copy. In other words, it differs from other copies with many differences. In the light of the information given in the commentary, there is no doubt that the poem belongs to Mustafa bin Osman Keskin. Therefore, we see that the commentary was built on a copy of Manzûme-i Keskin that could not be identified in the catalogues. These and some other features increase the value of the text examined. In this article, it is aimed to introduce Şerh-i Lügat-i Keskin.

Şerh-i Lügat-i Keskin adını alan bu şerh, şimdiki bilgilerimize göre Manzûme-i Keskine yapılan tek şerhtir. Zemin metnin hiçbir Manzûme-i Keskin nüshasına benzemediği görülmektedir. Diğer bir ifadeyle öteki nüshalardan birçok farklılıkla ayrılmaktadır. Şerhte verilen bilgiler ışığında manzumenin Mustafa bin Osman Keskine aidiyetinde şüphe yoktur. Dolayısıyla şerhin kataloglarda tespit edilemeyen bir Manzûme-i Keskin nüshası üzerine inşa edilmiş olduğunu görürüz. Bu ve diğer bazı özellikler, incelenen metnin kıymetini artırmış olmaktadır. Bu yazıda Şerh-i Lügat-i Keskinin tanıtılması hedeflenmiştir.
