Özet:

After World War II, often regarded as the most significant conflict in human history, the world plunged into a state of utter chaos. The superpowers of the opposing alliances transformed into rivals, vying to reshape global maps and attain world dominance. Consequently, following the wars conclusion, two contendersnamely, the USSR The Union of Soviyet Socialist Republics and the USA The United States of Americaadopted expansionist policies and became embroiled in the Cold War. This geopolitical shift catalyzed the reconfiguration of the Soviet illegal foreign intelligence network, particularly in nations with anti-Soviet stances, such as Japan, which aligned with a pro-US agenda. In this context, a new chapter in intelligence operations unfolded, intertwined with the dynamics of the Cold War, involving the creation of fresh narratives and heroic figures for covert missions. The Soviet intelligence service, known for employing diverse intelligence strategies through the fabrication of counterfeit identities and agent stories, embarked on a new saga within the spy epoch. The circumstances of the era posed challenges to infiltrating Japan, necessitating the development of a meticulously crafted plan. The goal revolved around the selected intelligence agents, who were tasked with assuming the roles of Enver Sadik and Hatice Sadik, the Uyghur couple hailing from East Turkistan. By residing in East Turkestan temporarily, they could better acclimate to their surroundings and subsequently facilitate their infiltration into the target country via Hong Kong. This study primarily aims to unveil the life stories and intelligence missions of Soviet intelligence operatives Shamil Hamzin codenamed Halef and Bibiiran Alimova codenamed Bir. During the Cold War, they played pivotal roles in revitalizing the intelligence apparatus within Japan, thereby furnishing valuable information to the USSR. This exploration thus positions the accounts of Bir and Halef as significant exemplars of the USSRs comprehensive intelligence strategy, effectively harnessing human intelligence methodologies.
