 The main objective of this study is to examine the convergence process of the TR33 sub-region in terms of income, poverty, and income inequality using Fourier stationarity analyses. This is done by comparing it with other NUTS-2 level sub-regions that are in a better economic position based on relevant indicators. In this context, the linearity properties of the variables used are first investigated using the BDS Independence Test. The results reveal that the data sets for each sub-region do not exhibit independent linear distributions. Following the linearity test, FKPSS, FADF, and F-Sollis nonlinear stationarity tests are applied to analyze the convergence processes between the TR33 sub-region and other sub-regions. When the results of the three different stationarity tests are evaluated as a whole, it is observed that the TR33 sub-region converges with TR10, TR21, TR22, TR31, TR32, and TR61 sub-regions in terms of per capita income, while it diverges from other sub-regions. Regarding income inequality convergence, the TR33 sub-region tends to converge with the TR41 and TR81 sub-regions, whereas, in terms of poverty convergence, it converges with the TR42 and TRC3 sub-regions.

 Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, TR33 alt-bölgesinin gelir, yoksulluk ve gelir eşitsizliğindeki yakınsama sürecini ilgili göstergeler bazında kendisinden daha iyi durumda olan NUTS-2 düzeyindeki diğer alt-bölgeler ile kıyaslayarak Fourier durağanlık analizleri yardımıyla incelemektir. Bu kapsamda ilk olarak kullanılan değişkenlerin doğrusallık özellikleri BDS Bağımsızlık Testi kullanılarak araştırılmış ve analiz sonuçları her bir alt-bölge için veri setlerinin bağımsız doğrusal dağılımlar göstermediğini ortaya koymuştur. Doğrusallık testini takiben TR33 alt-bölgesi ile diğer alt-bölgeler arasındaki yakınsama süreçlerini incelemek için FKPSS, FADF ve F-Sollis doğrusal olmayan durağanlık testleri kullanılmıştır. Üç farklı durağanlık test sonucu bir bütün olarak değerlendirildiğinde kişi başına düşen gelir bağlamında TR33 alt-bölgesinin TR10, TR21, TR22, TR31, TR32 ve TR61 alt-bölgelerine yakınsadığı, buna karşın diğer alt-bölgelere ise ıraksadığı gözlenmiştir. Gelir eşitsizliği yakınsaması kapsamında TR33 alt-bölgesinin TR41 ve TR81 alt-bölgelerine yakınsama eğilimi sergilediği, yoksulluk yakınsaması bağlamında ise TR42 ve TRC3 alt-bölgelerine yakınsadığı görülmüştür.
