Özet:

In this study, the effects of different doses 5, 10 and 15 gkg of rosehip fruit as a source of vitamin C on laying performance and egg weight of Atak-S laying hens reared under displacement stress were investigated. In the study, 80 black Atak-S laying hens at the age of 26 weeks were used and given free access to feed and water. They were observed for 30 days. The experiment was conducted in 4 groups together with the control group, with 20 hens in each group. The stress factor was created by moving the hens in groups. The effects of rosehip on the stress caused by moving were observed and the egg weight and laying performance of the hens were determined. Compared to the control group, a decrease was observed in all groups during the first 10 days. Egg production decreased by up to about 60 between 0 and 10 days, while it increased between 10 and 30 days in each group. However, the group supplemented with 15 gkg rosehips achieved the highest yield and an earlier increase was observed than in all other groups, including the control group. In the groups supplemented with rosehip, egg numbers and egg laying percentage increased earlier than in the control group.
