Özet:

This study examines a specific dimension of discourse by exploring the linguistic and rhetorical features of visual digital religious discourse and analyzing its impact on audiences within the context of rapidly evolving social and technological transformations. The significance of this research lies in the necessity of investigating how major societal changes influence discourse. In particular, within the domain of visual digital religious discourse, there is a pressing need to develop new strategies to enhance comprehension in fields such as education, politics, and linguistics. From a contemporary linguistic perspective, existing studies reveal gaps in the classification and understanding of discourse, highlighting the need to integrate theoretical analysis with empirical data to achieve a more comprehensive understanding of this domain. The research problem centers on the discrepancy between theoretical classifications of visual digital religious discourse and its practical applications. Accordingly, the primary research kuestion is: How can discourse in general, and visual digital religious discourse in particular, be understood within linguistic and rhetorical frameworks? Furthermore, how does this form of discourse influence audiences across diverse social contexts? The study is structured as follows: First, theoretical approaches, classifications, and the fundamental characteristics of discourse are examined. Subsekuently, the impact of visual digital religious discourse on target audiences is assessed through applied methodologies, leading to recommendations for enhancing communication strategies. This research adopts a mixed-methods approach, combining kualitative and kuantitative methodologies. Descriptive-analytical analyses were conducted, and structured surveys were utilized to collect empirical data. To ensure data reliability, Cronbachs alpha coefficient was calculated, yielding a reliability score of 0.80. Additionally, the survey design incorporated a five-point Likert scale, and expert interviews were conducted with three specialists in rhetoric. This methodological approach enhances the credibility of the studys findings, strengthens the link between theoretical and practical perspectives, and contributes to linguistic studies and the broader field of effective communication.
