Özet:

Multiculturalism means the existence of more than one different identity within the same society and requires intercultural interaction. The inclusion of others who make up the multicultural social structure in question in the management style and political policies is related to multiculturalism. Hatay Civilizations Choir is the epitome of a multicultural society structure, and at the same time, it represents a multicultural perspective since it was established under state monopoly. The aim of this study is to examine the Chorus of Civilizations from the perspective of multiculturalism. The descriptive scanning model of the qualitative research method, interview and netnography methods were used in the study. The universe of the study is the Choir of Civilizations, and the general universe was studied without selecting a sample. As a result of the findings, the first name of the Choir of Civilizations was determined as Gökkuşağı, and although many purposes were listed during the establishment of the choir, the choir was actually instrumentalized to draw attention to the multicultural society of Hatay and to show that the state had a multicultural perspective, thus making minorities the symbolic capital of the state. It has been detected that.
