Özet:

Jerusalem, which has been recognized as a holy city for every messenger and religion from the first Prophet Adam to the last Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, has raised many scholars until today. One of these scholars, whom we have noticed to be hidden like a shining star in the distance, is Dr. Ziyaeb Şhādirma, born in Palestine, who, although he was introduced to the science of Qiraat at an advanced age, has produced works in the field and trained hundreds of students. He is an exceptional figure who grew up in the Palestinian geography and achieved outstanding achievements despite all the difficulties experienced by the Muslims in the region. The aim of this study is to introduce Dr. Ziyaeb Şhādirma, one of the rare personalities of the last period who grew up in Palestine in the field of Qiraat despite all the difficulties. The data for this study was obtained from online interviews and correspondence with his family and students, in addition to the sources available about the author. It is very important to recognize this person who we think is an exemplary value that can be a model for the youth of Palestine and our country. Ziyaeb Shādirma started his life as an orphan, became a medical doctor, and then a Qurānic scholar and opinion leader. This prominent scholar completed his hafizat at the age of forty and turned his attention to Qiraat, which he was interested in, and after studying from various scholars, he received his ijazah in Qiraat ashara. Despite his late age, Shādirma received a diploma in Qiraat from the Faculty of Sharia in Jordan, where he trained a large number of students and became a well-respected and popular figure. This study has made it possible to publish his completed but unpublished work on Qiraat. His existing works were identified as Maqāsid al-Qurāniyya, Rivāyah al-Hafs Talil wa Tajsīr, and Esrār-u Mihnat al-Tibb. Although it was mentioned that he had a work titled Maqālāt, the existence of this work could not be determined. In the end, Dr. Shādirma gained valuable achievements through the many expeditions he participated in, and by combining them with his scholarly, intellectual and moral knowledge, he touched the lives of many people both in the places he visited and in Jordan. We are excited to realize that anyone who knows this exemplary scholar will find in him a light that will illuminate his world and a quality that he can model. Finding the exceptional life stories of these and similar scholars hidden in the region, bringing them to light and presenting them in a way that the public can benefit from them is an important field of research that almost every researcher interested in the subject should take on as a task. This field awaits qualified and diligent researchers.
