Özet:

In the article, the old and modern cemeteries of the Tsakhurs were examined from a historical-ethnographic point of view. It was noted that there were clergymen muslim religious functionaries who performed religious rites and supervised the cleanliness of burial places. The tombs were rectangular in shape. In Turkish-Muslim nations, including the tsakhur people, the attitude towards the grave of the dead, opening and changing the grave are based on certain rules. It was noted that those who committed suicide were not buried in the general village cemetery, and their graves were not visited. It was actually educational in some way. The middle of the graves was left empty and covered with earth. It is also stated in the article that the religious affiliation of the deceased was taken into account when erecting the tombstones, and the surname, name, fathers name, date of birth and date of death were also recorded on the tombstones. As a result of ethnographic studies conducted at the time when the article was written, the statements of informants played an important role.

Məqalədə saxurların qədim və müasir qəbiristanlıqları tarixi-etnoqrafik baxımdan tədqiq edilmişdir. Qeyd olunub ki, orada dini ayinlər həyata keçirən və dəfn yerlərinin təmizliyinə nəzarət edən din xadimləri olmuşdur. Qəbirlər dördbucaqlı formada idi. Türk-müsəlman xalqları, o cümlədən saxur xalqı arasında mərhumun məzarına münasibət, yarılma və dəfn yerinin dəyişdirilməsi müəyyən qaydalara əsaslanmışdır. Bildirilib ki, intihar edənlər ümumi kənd qəbiristanlığında dəfn olunmayıb və qəbirləri ziyarət edilməyib. Bu, əslində bir növ maarifləndirici idi. Qəbirlərin ortası boş qalar və torpaqla örtülərdi. Məqalədə məzar daşlarının inşasında mərhumun dini mənsubiyyətinin nəzərə alındığı və məzar daşlarına soyad, ad, ata adı, doğum tarixi və ölüm tarixinin də qeyd edildiyi bildirilir. Məqalənin yazılmasında bölgədə aparılan etnoqrafik tədqiqatlar nəticəsində əldə olunan informantların məlumatları mühüm rol oynamışdır.
