Özet:

Purpose: The aims of the research are to determine the importance degrees (coefficients weights) of the components that determine Logistics Performance Index and the logistics performance efficiency and productivity of the countries according to the G7 countries.

Methodology: The most recent and up-to-date Logistic Performance Index of the countries for 2018 was determined by Entropy, the logistics performance activities of the countries were determined by Data Envelopment Analysis and finally the logistics performance efficiency of the countries by the Entropy based EATWIOS (Efficiency Analysis Technique with Input and Output Satisfaction) method.

Findings: According to the findings, it has been observed that the most important component determining logistics performance by country is international shipments. Again, according to the findings, all countries except Germany were able to achieve logistics performance efficiency. The logistics efficiency performance values of the countries are listed as Japan, USA, Germany, France, Italy, Canada and the United Kingdom. In addition, it has been concluded that logistics performance, logistics performance efficiency and logistics performance productivity rankings of countries are different and their relationship values with each other are all insignificant.

Originality: When the literature is evaluated, it was evaluated that the study contributed to the literature since there was no research that measures the logistics performance efficiency and productivity values of the countries together.
