Özet:

The greatest and most valuable legacy that of the Prophet left to the Muslims, and even all humanity after the Quran-i Kareem, our Almighty Lords words, are his hadiths, which tell us His s.a.s. orders, desires, and practices. In addition to the Quran, the hadiths of our Prophet are the second primary source that establishes Muslims beliefs, worship, and moral principles; in particular, their worldview, lifestyle, descriptions of knowledge, sense of art, and moral values. Therefore, hadiths are a valuable resource in all aspects of life, particularly in religious life. The principles of Islam spread and permeated every aspect of life with the occasion of hadiths. The same manifestation can be seen in the perspective of Islamic culture and civilizations art and architecture. Hadiths are one of the founding factors of Islamic culture and civilization in terms of art and architecture. This can be observed in the contributions unique to Islam that can be observed in universal art and architectural forms, particularly in Islamic art branches and architectural imagination. The inclusion of hadiths as a decorative element, particularly in mosque architecture, indicates this aspect. One of the most notable examples is the Divrigi Great Mosque, which was built by the House of Mengujek during the Sultanate of Rum. The shapes and epitaphs on the mosques minbar are the most prominent examples. The engravings and inscriptions on this ebony wood minbar make it one-of-a-kind. The presence of hadiths in the epitaphs is more evident. On the minbar, twenty-four hadiths were masterfully operated, fourteen on the right and ten on the left. Therefore, this study aims to contribute to the promotion of the minbar of the Divrigi Great Mosque by considering these hadiths and to detect the places of these hadiths in the main sources and stating their status in terms of imputation and authenticity.

Hz.
