Özet:

Metaverse technologies, one of the biggest developments in science and technology in the last century, are expected to be the catalyst for major paradigmatic changes in both the social and individual arenas. The metaverse universe, which is most likely to bring about both crisis and opportunity, will create major changes in education, management, trade, social relations, game, and entertainment practices; leading to the deconstruction of the meaning of life and knowledge. At this point, it is an important question who will be the actors of this change and in which values, the mentioned changes will occur? As a matter of fact, technology and informatics giants seem to be candidates to be authorities who will determine the norms, values, and practices of the new meta cosmological era. When the metaverse society in question is evaluated as a cyber-social field, it is expected that the leaders of this new field will be the owners of the meta economic capital. Owners of commodity economic power, the meta field actors habitus, which is the mechanism producing the action; relations, and dynamics in the field, will determine the fields norms, values, and classification systems. In this study, Malaysia, Türkiye, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Iran, and Indonesia are determined as the representation of Islamic countries. In this context, a projection of their meta economic capital will be kept to evaluate these countries possibilities to take a position in the power field of the metaverse society, which is a new global social field. A comparative descriptive analysis will be carried out on the meta economic capitals of these countries, based on the macro data obtained within the scope of the product space analysis, which is the visualization of the economic complexity index that measures the knowledge, skills, and technological competencies of society.
