Özet:

Azerbaijan is a country with a rich accumulation in terms of minstrel literature. Among the Turkic states, the art of minstrelsy was divided into regions and the minstrels who grew up in each region made significant contributions to the Azerbaijani minstrelsy. Goyce, which is located in Zengezur region, is known as a region that has been a home for minstrels who have been the hearth of the art of minstrelsy and who have been the masters of masters such as Ag Ashiq, Ashiq Alı and Ashiq Elesger in this hearth. Âşık Alı made important contributions to the art of Azerbaijani minstrelsy by training a master minstrel like Âşık Elesger. Âşık Alı was born in the Kızılvəng village of the Göyçe region in 1801. His father, Mirza, enrolled him in the Molla school. During her school years, she became interested in the art of minstrelsy and became an apprentice to Ağ Âşık in Göyçe, attending feasts and gatherings with her and performing exchanges. Ashiq Alı has become a well-known minstrel in many regions of Azerbaijan, as well as in Tabriz, Kars, Erzurum regions. In addition to his conversations with Ashiq Besti and Esmer, one of the female minstrels whom he met in the epic of Ashiq Alıs expedition to Turkey, the minstrel tunes such as Göyçe Şerili, Göyçe Gülü, Ağır Şerili, Göyçe Gaytağı, which he added to the minstrel airs, were introduced to Azerbaijani minstrel tunes. Âşık Alı trained a master ashik like Âşık Elesger, whose name is known throughout the Turkish world in todays Azerbaijani ashik literature.
