Özet:

In this study, it is aimed to examine the concept of Arabic grammar in understanding of maqâsid and the literature emerging within this framework. In this context, al-maqâsidun-nahviyye, the most important concept to take place in Arabic grammar, entered in Arabic Literature as a term for the first time with Ibn Mâlik d. 6721274. When the resources are examined, it is seen that the concept of al-maqâsidun-nahviyye has sometimes been commented in the meaning as the main subjects of nahiv science, and sometimes as the purposes of rules in nahiv, and sometimes as the ilat of this science. When maqâsid and ilat concepts are observed from a wide angle, it is seen that these two concepts have a significant role in the foundation of Arabic grammar rules. While ilat forms the reason of any particular lingual phenomenon, maqâsid expresses deep goals that lie at the background of language and systemizes it or the basic issues having emerged within these goals. Although there are studies examining the ilat of nahiv in the field of Arabic language, the general maqâsid, which is the manifestation of the understanding in the subconscious of the speakers of the language and which directs the development of the language, which is aimed at establishing grammar rules, has not yet been addressed and discussed independently at the desired level. It can be criticized as a deficiency that many rules in Arabic grammar are left without being analyzed and are called semâî without justification. In fact, in determining the rules of Arabic grammar, instead of rational evidence, the reference to the usage and poetry examples of the old Arabs, especially those of the jahiliyyah period, reveals the semâî dimension of the language that veils the maqâsid. Setting out from this point of view, it is important to reveal both the conceptual analysis of the word maqâsid in the language and its relationship with the sciences of grammar and rhetoric. In this study, in order to closely observe the concept of maqâsid in Arabic grammar, it is aimed to draw the conceptual framework of the word, to indicate the subtle difference between this concept and the concept of ilat, to determine its meaning in literature and especially its relationship with the Arabic language.
