Özet:

When the historical course of Turkish foreign policy is examined, it can be seen that from the past e.g. Sadabat Pact and Baghdad Pact to the present e.g. approaches to the solution of the Palestine problem, special importance has been attributed to relations with Middle Eastern countries. The Middle East geography, including Türkiye, will cease to be the center of chaos with the cooperation of the countries in the region and will become a determining, not passive, geopolitical geography of the world, as it was in the period of civilizations. Studies have previously been carried out within the framework of various disciplines on the subject of peace and cooperation in the region. In addition, congresses and symposiums with wide participation were held on the subject. However, studies on Western literature are generally not studies on peace and cooperation in the Middle East, but rather focus on perspectives such as the Palestine-Israel problem and other political problems in the region, sectarian conflicts and conflicts, Middle East history, energy and security. Referring to the importance of the region for Türkiye, many works have been written about the Middle East and scientific meetings have been held by various institutions and organizations. In this context, the study reveals the necessity of a cooperation-based international organization in terms of the borders of the Middle East as a region corresponding countries, the problems in the region and ultimately the future of the region.
