Özet:

Many factors played a role in the victory of the Turkish National Struggle, which is a war of existence. Therefore, to understand the National Struggle correctly, it is necessary to know the activities of women and children during that period. For this reason, it is extremely important to present the events in which these actors took part with concrete examples. Considering the actions in this period, in which women and children were actively involved, they took an active role in the front and participated in associations and rallies. The purpose of this study; is to determine the roles and activities carried out by women and children both behind the front and at the front at the scale of Cukurova. From this point of view, many women and child heroes in the region in question have made serious efforts for the liberation of the homeland. Thus, the independence struggle of women and children in Cukurova under national consciousness and responsibility has been an important process in the success of the newly established Turkish State. The women and children who have a share in this whole process have been tried to be determined through a wide literature review. Archival documents of the period, newspapers, memoirs and research studies are some of the sources used in the preparation of the study.
