Özet:

The present study aims to examine the Ottoman pashas, who were at the highest levels of the Ottoman ruling elite and established waqfs in various cities of the Ottoman geography, in terms of their waqfiyyas. In this way, some important issues regarding the Ottoman waqf-establishing practices in the 17th century will be brought to the agenda. These pashas were chosen because they took office both in the center and in the provinces, and their waqfiyyas were drawn up both in Istanbul, the Balkans, Central and Western Anatolia, and in the Arab provinces. The study consists of two parts. In the first part, waqfiyyas will be analyzed in terms of form. Waqfiyyas will be examined in terms of archival and registration numbers, issue and registration dates, place and language characteristics. In the second part, waqfiyyas will be discussed in detail under eight different headings in terms of content.
