Özet:

Revelation can be defined as the communication of Allah with human beings to declare unchangeable truths. In communication, in order for the messages to be understood correctly by the interlocutors, their mental structures, ways of life, historical and cultural backgrounds should be taken into consideration. An address that does not take the addressee into account cannot succeed in influencing him or her and making changes in his or her world of mind. For this reason, throughout history Allah has conveyed revelation to people through messengers whom he has specially chosen from among them. During the transmission of the revelation, the qualities of the people and the common characteristics, problems, history, and culture of the society in which they live were taken into consideration. In the Quran, it is seen that the common aspects of the interlocutors are emphasized both in the narratives about the past prophets and their tribes and in the content that addresses the historical knowledge of the Arab society, the first addressee of the Quran, and touches upon their cultural tastes and common problems. Clearly, this situation, which draws attention in the Quranic verses, needs to be addressed in the context of the revelation-addressee relationship. In this study, which aims to serve this purpose in the field of Islamic sciences, the common qualities that are emphasized in the relationship between revelation and its interlocutor within the framework of Quranic verses are discussed. In the relationship between revelation and addressee, the Quran refers to the recognition of the prophets by their addressees, unity of language, common historical experience, common culture, and emphasis on common problems.
