 The purpose of this study is to examine the Web 2.0-supported activity practices of rural classroom teachers in mathematics lessons. Data were obtained through interviews and researcher diary. The data were analysed by content and document analysis. It was found that classroom teachers working in rural areas benefited from the internet and technological devices in Web 2.0 supported mathematics activity applications; however, it was determined that they lacked Web 2.0 knowledge, the lack of interactive whiteboards in the classrooms and time management problems were factors that negatively affected the implementation process. Rural teachers are recommended to benefit from professional development activities.

 Bu çalışmanın amacı; kırsalda görev yapan sınıf öğretmenlerinin matematik dersinde Web 2.0 destekli etkinlik uygulama durumlarını incelemektir. Nitel araştırma desenlerinden durum çalışması deseninin kullanıldığı çalışmanın katılımcıları kırsal bir bölgede görev yapan 4 sınıf öğretmeninden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri, 2021-2022 eğitim-öğretim yılında öğretmenlerle yapılan görüşmeler ve araştırmacı günlüğü kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Verilerin analizi içerik ve doküman analizi ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda kırsalda görev yapan sınıf öğretmenlerinin Web 2.0 destekli matematik etkinliği uygulamalarında internet ve teknolojik cihazlardan yararlandıkları; ancak sınıf öğretmenlerinin Web 2.0 destekli matematik etkinliklerinde Web 2.0 uygulamalarını kullanma konusundaki bilgi eksikliklerinin, sınıflarda etkileşimli tahta bulunmamasının ve zaman yönetimi sorunlarının uygulama sürecini olumsuz etkileyen faktörler olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Dolayısıyla kırsal kesimde görev yapan sınıf öğretmenlerinin Web 2.0 uygulamalarını etkili bir matematik dersinde kullanabilmeleri için mesleki gelişim etkinliklerinden yararlanmaları önerilebilir.
